Tangerine cookies: fragrant and crumbly they are really inviting!

Add both tangerine juice and zest, these cookies will become your new addiction 😋🍊 Save the recipe:



INGREDIENTS:

  • 130g (1/2 cup) of butter
  • 100g (1/2 cup) of sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 50ml (1/4 cup) of vegetable oil
  • Tangerine (zest)
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) of tangerine (juice)
  • 400g (3 1/4 cups) of flour
  • 3g (1/2 tsp) of baking powder
  • Sugar grains





METHOD:

  1. In a bowl add the butter, sugar, and salt, and mix with a spatula until the butter and sugar dissolve.
  2. Add the egg, vegetable oil, tangerine zest, and juice and continue mixing. Sift the flour and baking powder and continue mixing.
  3. When all is combined well start kneading with your hands to obtain a smooth dough.
  4. Take the part of the dough with your hands and make the cookie shape. Coat each cookie with sugar grains.
  5. Transfer the cookies to the baking tray covered with parchment paper. Transfer to the oven and bake at 180°C/360°F for 15 minutes.
